The Basque Country Technology Park Network is a member of the Red I2BASK network, whose goal is to support the R+D+i community by providing the actors of the Basque Country Technology Park Network with telecommunications facilities and ICT services. The network is made up by the Universities, Science and Technology Centers, Hospitals and Biomedical Research Departments, and R+D management bodies. Therefore, through the Red I2Bask, the above-mentioned actors are able to approach advanced projects in multimedia communication, virtual reality, expanded communications, intensive computation and similar topics.

I2Bask provides a first level of broadband connectivity in the Basque Country, a second State level with the link to the Red IRIS2 network, and a European level, reaching the GEANT network via the Red IRIS2 network.
